The Reedy Touring Car Race of Champions 2005 featured some of the world's best touring car drivers and was fully packaged with an exciting and thrilling competition. XRAY team has once again proved that the new T1FK'05 has been legitimely perceived one of the best touring cars in the world and the team XRAY sponsored by RC America has brought some of the best drivers to this race to make the racing even more equal and exciting and showcase the profesionalism.
After the qualifications, it was Peter Robinson (XRAY) who was able to take the top qualifying position (TQ) in the popular Spec class with his T1FK'05. After Peter dominated the first two A-mains starting in first and never looking back gave Peter the overall win in Spec. Alex Lopez (XRAY) was able to position himself in 7th and moved to the front of the pack in the mains capturing 4th place. In the Open class Josh Neuman was TQ with Jarrod Scott (XRAY) in second place on the starting grid. Bobby Flack, newcomer to team Xray put his new T1FK'05 in 8th position finishing in 8th. Jarrod had some trouble in the first two A-mains but in the third main crushed the field with an 8 second lead giving him 4th position overall for the final.

In the Invitational class Jilles Groskamp put on a strong showing with a Tie-breaker giving him 2nd finishing position. Ralph Burch was another man on the move winning two heats giving him 8th finishing position. The Invitational class was very equall, since both Jilles and Craig Drescher end up to have the same total points.
1. Craig Drescher: 3x "1st" + 3x "2nd" + 1x "4th" + 1x "8th" position = total 9 points
2. Jilles Groskamp (XRAY): 3x "1st" + 3x "2nd" + 2x "4th" position = total 9 points

Even Jilles had overal the best and most steadily results unfortunately the racing format made it for Jilles to end up on second position only.
